About this file

This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for mechanical repairs at Bachelor Enlisted Quarters located at French Creek, with project number 25M084CN dated 08-July-2025. The project involves repairing mechanical and control system deficiencies across three buildings (FC504, FC507, FC510) to restore original performance standards. Specific repair requirements include installing new exhaust fans and thermostats in various rooms, replacing PTAC units, testing and replacing air handling unit components, repairing heating hot water control valves, and establishing communication between building automation systems and VAV controllers.

The scope of work covers multiple technical interventions, such as replacing balancing valves on chill water and heating hot water piping, testing return and outdoor air dampers, replacing energy wheel assemblies, and ensuring proper operation of heating hot water control valves across numerous specific room locations. The contractor is responsible for field verification of existing equipment, information, sizes, quantities, and measurements. All scheduling and access must be coordinated with the Barracks Manager, and the project is part of Naval Facilities Engineering Command's maintenance efforts at the Bachelor Enlisted Quarters site.
