About this file
The document is a Pre-Application Report from PacifiCorp regarding the potential interconnection of an 800kW solar project, named the Medford Floating Solar Project, to PacifiCorp's Distribution System. The proposed point of interconnection is located on Circuit 5R285 out of the Jacksonville substation, with coordinates 42.321705, -122.947866. The report provides details on the substation and circuit capacity, existing and queued generation, available capacity, voltage, circuit distance, peak and minimum loads, and protective devices. It confirms that the project meets the sizing requirements to apply as a Community Solar Project.
The related state and local contract opportunity is an RFP issued by the Medford Irrigation District for the installation of a photovoltaic system. The RFP response is due by the close of business on 2/26/2024, and the project is located in Jackson County, Oregon. No additional details about pricing, set asides, incumbents, funding, or other salient information are provided in the given materials.
