Questions and Answers from all potential vendors solicitation #6973GH-23-R-00158

1. the original solicitation was to reuse the stainless-steel keystone brackets for 16 antenna’s brackets. Am I understanding the addendum correctly the FAA would like to have all new keystones fabricated now as they are going to be reconfigured differently or are they being reused and reconfigured differently? I read it numerous times and it is not clear to me.

• The existing keystones are to be reused and mounted on the contractor fabricated support assembly (see S001). The addendum requires the nailer to now be installed around the entire roof perimeter instead of just at the antenna locations. The addendum also adds the fabrication and installation of one (1) galvanized steel ladder support and the replacement of damaged interior ceiling panels.

2. Would Contractor own the asbestos abatement testing and if testing positive pricing would be requested by the FAA for the removal.

• Yes, the contractor must hire the testing company and if testing comes back positive a contract modification will be issued for the removal and disposal of the asbestos containing material.

3. Is the NYS licensed surveyor the responsibility of the FAA?

• No

4. Is the cost to perform this scope the contractors?

• Contractor to hire the surveyor
