About this file
This document appears to be a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity to replace a generator at Marine Corps Base Air Station, New River in North Carolina.
The SOW details the required work, which includes removing the existing generator, concrete pad, Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), and associated wiring and conduits. It also requires removing the existing medium voltage conduit riser, fuse cutouts, surge arresters, conductors, conduits, duct-bank, and distribution transformer. The contractor must then install a properly sized generator with a supplemental load-bank breaker and Cam-Lok connectors, a new concrete pad, working platform, and ATS. The sub-base fuel tank must be sized to provide 96 hours of run time. Additionally, the contractor must provide and install new medium voltage fuse cutouts, surge arresters, conductors, conduits, duct-bank, transformer, and service disconnect.
The related federal contract opportunity solicitation number is N4008525R2504, with the project name "AS211 Generator Replacement". The contracting agency is the Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command. Only Mechanical MACC Contractors listed on the General Requirements cover page may submit a proposal for this project.
