About this file
This statement of work outlines requirements for a family of lightweight tactical power sources. The Army seeks to procure three generator sizes ranging from 450W to 1250W output to provide portable electric power. Key requirements include output voltage of 28VDC for the 450W unit and 120VAC for the larger sizes. Weight must not exceed 20lbs for the 450W or 55lbs for the 1250W. Components and spare parts, packing and shipping, user manuals, and warranty support are also required. The generators must operate on JP-8 or NATO F-24 fuel and include remote fueling and start kits. Safety standards include protection from electric shock and compliance with grounding requirements. The contractor must meet production and delivery schedules, and provide configuration management, testing, and logistics support over the contract period.

Objective and Scope
The objective of the Statement of Work (SOW) is to produce and deliver Light Weight Tactical Power Sources (LWTPS) in accordance with (IAW) the performance thresholds spelled out in Appendix A, System Requirements.
1.1 Background
As the US Army continues to transform to support Multi Domain Operations (MDO), new capabilities are being fielded. The onset of the Integrated Tactical Network (ITN) and the Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS) requires a lighter, more mobile, scalable power generation solution. The Small Tactical Electric Power (STEP) program within Product Director, Small Expeditionary Power Sources (SEPS) will address these opportunities but will not be fielded until Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 (25). This SOW will procure an existing and/or emergent lightweight power generation solution to best satisfy the current need.
Applicable Documents
The following specifications, standards, policies, and procedures represent the constraints placed on this acquisition. All documents listed are mandatory as referenced in Appendix A. The most current version of the document will take precedence, unless otherwise stated. In the event of a conflict between the requirements of this SOW and any cited documents for the item on contract, the requirements of this SOW shall govern. The Contractor shall report any conflicts within this SOW or documents referenced herein to the Contracting Officer for resolution.
