About this file

This document is a DD Form 254, which specifies security requirements and classification guidance for federal contract N322005-20-R-4052. The contract is between the Department of the Navy Military Sealift Command and a contractor to charter a container vessel for worldwide service to preposition cargo, including hazardous materials, explosives, and ammunition, in support of military readiness. Specific key billets will require access to SECRET information regarding mission operations. Designated personnel handling classified information must complete counterintelligence awareness training. Information security requirements include compliance with NIST Special Publication 800-171 protecting controlled unclassified information. Performance requires designated shipboard personnel have SECRET clearances granted by the Defense Security Service and access only be provided to U.S. citizens. The contractor must provide semi-annual personnel listings and ensure any classified information is only released to properly cleared employees with a need-to-know.
