About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a Hazardous Waste Removal federal contract opportunity (2099CH26R00001). The document does not contain specific response dates, award dates, or federal agency identification beyond the contract number.
The solicitation involves hazardous waste removal services with a Not-to-Exceed (NTE) value of $25,000. Key service requirements include the removal and disposal of drum wastes in quantities of 1 quart for P-listed wastes and 5-55 gallons for other waste streams, as well as lab-pack quantities of various hazardous materials including small mercury-containing devices. The vendor is responsible for providing labpack containers and charging for them, while replacement containers will be requested by the agency as needed. Cost estimates may include variable fees such as fuel recovery charges. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amended Attachment 1 provide the detailed scope of work, specifying waste streams listed in SOW sections 1(a-l) for drum wastes requiring profiles and sections 2(a-k) for lab-pack quantities. Regarding DEA-regulated items, the agency seeks confirmation that vendors have capability to provide services if operational needs evolve to require use of the agency's own DEA registration number. Contract Clause 52.212-4(d) governs the treatment of costs approaching the NTE value.
