About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document from a Request for Information (RFI) for FinCEN Lock & Key Maintenance Support.
The document addresses three vendor inquiries regarding contract requirements and site logistics. First, regarding Traka authorized reseller and installer status, vendors must demonstrate their ability to complete all Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements and be fully operational on day one of contract performance if awarded; status cannot be obtained post-award. Second, the Medeco keyway specified in the contract is proprietary to FinCEN, and the agency will provide Letters of Authorization (LoA) on an annual basis for any key or core orders required during contract performance. Third, regarding parking at the two service locations: the Washington DC facility has limited parking available at the loading dock behind the building, while the Vienna location offers free parking in the surrounding lot and garage. These clarifications establish baseline operational and compliance expectations for potential contractors responding to the lock and key maintenance support requirement.
