Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP)/ Western Currency Facility (WCF) Questions/Responses
Solicitation: 2031ZA24Q00023 Drug Testing Services
Amendment 002
Question 1: The attached PWS states: "Pre-employment testing for these individuals and BEP Teleworkers/Remote Workers needs to be conducted at clinics near (generally within a 25-mile radius) the applicant’s home or business address. This includes applicants currently working overseas."
Do we have zip codes of the referenced address to assure that our clinics are within the proper radius?
Response: The current contractor has a scheduling portal and the Government enter information such as the applicants name, dob, ss#, email, phone number and zip code of their residence. The Government receives this information from USA staffing. The contractor then uses this information to schedule the test at a testing facility near the applicant’s residence. As for out of the country testing, currently a separate company that the current contractor does business with conducts those. The Government only had two tests out of the country last year. The Government submit the applicant’s out of country address to that company and they schedule a test at the nearest out of the country testing facility. These are clinics the Contactor does business with they aren’t Government clinics.
