About this file
This document is a user story (Story 143038) describing a software feature enhancement for a business administration system. The story focuses on implementing a new functionality that allows Business Administrators to manage product types through the Business Admin Console, including the ability to add new product types, specify review stage timeframes, and set default properties and certification information.
The acceptance criteria detail specific requirements such as restricting the action to Business Administrators, enabling the addition and inactivation of product types, and ensuring that existing product reviews remain processable even after a product type is inactivated. The document shows a user interface for managing product types, with an active list including product types like Bank Correspondence, Community Reinvestment Act PE, and Matters Requiring Attention, each with defined timeframes for various review stages. The story is planned for Sprint 3 and includes notes that institution should be available on the initiation form by default, with no default certification fields.

• Story Information:
o Story Name: Implement Business Admin Action to Manage Available Product Types o Story Description: Business Administrators would have the ability to add a new a new product type to the dropdown menu using a function from the Business Admin Console, as well as specify a timeframe for each review stage (EIC, SO, LE, Address Feedback). A pre-determined default set of product properties (initiation) and certification (QA) information would be collected for these product types. This would allow Mid-Size to introduce a new product type immediately and begin tracking/reporting on the review process. The new product type would also be available for selection in any dashboard and report filters. Mid-Size would then reach out to the Dev team to implement any custom logic for the product type in the next release o Planned For: Sprint 3
• Requirements Clarification o What should default properties and certification questions be?
o Can a deactivated product type be reactivated?
