About this file

This is a sealed bid request for proposal (RFP) issued by the Town of Stratford, Connecticut, seeking hardware, software, and support pricing for a new Nutanix system and disaster recovery node to replace existing Nutanix infrastructure. The Town has already selected an integrator and is soliciting bids exclusively for specified equipment, software licenses, and support services. The procurement includes two distinct components: a Primary Data Center configuration comprising four NX-1175S-G10 nodes with Intel Xeon 6515P processors, DDR5 memory modules, solid state drives, networking equipment, and 25 three-year Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure Pro Software licenses; and a Disaster Recovery Node consisting of one NX-1175S-G10 with an Intel Xeon 6530P processor and corresponding hardware and software. Sealed bid submissions must be received by the Purchasing Department at 2725 Main Street, Room 104, Stratford, Connecticut 06615, no later than 10:00 AM on Friday, October 30, 2026. Bidders may submit written requests for information or addenda clarifications to Gabby Tuccinardi, Buyer, at gtuccinardi2@townofstratford.com no later than Wednesday, October 28, 2026. All pricing proposals must remain firm for 30 days from the bid due date. The Town reserves the right to award contracts to multiple bidders based on specification compliance, competitive pricing, availability, and service center locality, or to reject any and all bids.

All pricing must be final and include standard warranty, shipping, freight, taxes, insurance, overhead, and profit, with delivery required to Stratford Town Hall by a specified date not to exceed October 2026. Bidders must be authorized dealers, distributors, or resellers for all items supplied and must provide proof of applicable certifications and licensing upon request. The Town emphasizes that no equivalent or replacement equipment will be considered; all items must match exact specifications as listed, and any deviations must be clearly identified in proposal submissions. Bidders must provide minimum three business references and information regarding years in business, firm size, and location. The procurement is contingent upon available budget, and specific quantities are not guaranteed. Installation is not required as the Town will perform configuration. Bidders must certify compliance with OSHA standards, obtain appropriate insurance naming the Town as additional insured, and indemnify the Town against claims arising from the contract. Electronic bid submissions will not be accepted; all bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked "BID #2027-12."
