About this file
Addendum #1 to Bid #2027-12 issued by the Town of Stratford, Connecticut on October 21, 2026, provides clarifications and revisions to the solicitation for a new Nutanix system and disaster recovery node. The Town requests sealed bids for hardware, software, and support services with a submission deadline of October 30, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., delivered to the Purchasing Department at 2725 Main Street, Room 104, Stratford, Connecticut 06615. The project comprises four NX-1175S-G10 nodes for the Primary Data Center and one NX-1175S-G10 node for the Disaster Recovery component, along with 25 three-year Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure Pro Software licenses per site. Prospective bidders must provide their best delivery date, with any dates exceeding December 31, 2026 requiring revision; only the exact items specified in the bid will be accepted, with no alternate platforms or equivalent substitutions permitted. Questions must be submitted by October 28, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. to Gabby Tuccinardi at gtuccinardi2@townofstratford.com.
The addendum clarifies that hardware support pricing should be quoted separately for both one-year and three-year terms, with support costs excludable from the grand total at the bidder's discretion. Bidders must be authorized Nutanix dealers, distributors, or resellers with appropriate certifications and must provide proof of authorization, minimum three business references, and documentation of OSHA compliance. All pricing must remain firm for 30 days from the bid due date, and proposals must include standard warranty, shipping, freight, taxes, insurance, overhead, and profit with delivery to Stratford Town Hall by October 2026. The purchase is contingent upon available budget, and the Town reserves the right to award to multiple bidders or reject all bids based on specification compliance, pricing, availability, and service center locality. No contract value is disclosed in the addendum.

ADDENDUM #1
BID #2027-12
New Nutanix System & Disaster Recovery Node
21st October, 2026 – It is intended that this Addendum incorporating the following corrections, revisions, additions, deletions and clarifications become part of the Contract Documents.
Questions / Answers:
1. The bid form requests a delivery date “not to exceed _____, 2026.” What is the Town’s required delivery date, and what is the anticipated award and purchase order date?
Answer: We are asking prospective bidders to provide their best delivery date – if it exceeds 12/31/2026 – please revise the date as needed.
2. Lead times for Nutanix NX appliances may exceed 90 days, which could push delivery into 2027. If so, would the Town accept a separate alternate bid on a Nutanix-certified platform (e.g., Lenovo or Cisco) with equal or greater specifications, running the same Nutanix NCI Pro software?
Answer: No, only the items specified in the bid will be accepted.
3. Should the 1-year and 3-year hardware support terms be quoted as separate prices on each support line, and which term should be included in the Grand Total?
Answer: Yes, please provide hardware support for both 1- and 3-year terms. You can exclude the support from the grand total.
4. Please confirm the requirement is 25 VMs of NCI Pro (per-VM, edge) on a 3-year subscription for each site (primary and DR)
