About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 to the Contract Documents for the Village of Tuxedo Park Department of Public Works Contract DPW-03, SSES Phase 3 covering Subbasins 5, 8, 16, and 17, issued by Weston & Sampson on August 19, 2026. The addendum clarifies contract requirements for two separate contracts: manhole rehabilitation covering 45 manholes and pipeline repair involving the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners on approximately 3,600 linear feet of 6-inch-diameter pipe and 2,400 linear feet of 8-inch-diameter pipe across nine roadways within the Village. The addendum confirms that a pre-bid meeting was held and provides sign-in documentation; bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on the designated acknowledgment page. Key clarifications include specifications for acceptable CIPP liner manufacturers (United Felts confirmed as compliant with ASTM F1216), approval of UV light CIPP methods meeting ASTM F2019, and confirmation that mainline cameras were used for six-inch pipe inspections.

The addendum addresses pricing and payment terms, clarifying that the allowance on Price Page PL-11 is $40,000 rather than $4,000, and confirming that contractors are paid on a unit price basis only for work completed rather than the full footage between manholes if sections cannot be completed. The contractor is not required to obtain additional regulatory permits, and no wet-lands are involved in the project area. Equipment and truck parking will be available as noted on Sheet G-2. The engineering estimate for manhole rehabilitation is approximately $265,000 and for pipe lining approximately $550,000. The addendum contains no changes to the project specifications or drawings, and all bid items shall remain as specified in the original contract documents, with pipe end sealing incidental to the CIPP bid item.
