The solicitation (W50S7726QA001) is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued on June 25, 2026, as a 100% small business set-aside with a closing date of July 15, 2026, at 4:00 PM local time. The project involves replacing the failed underground primary electrical service between the existing tap box and transformer supplying power to the mobile shooting range at Ellington Field. The project is valued between $25,000.00 and $50,000.00 and is classified under NAICS code 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors). The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to the responsible vendor whose quote is most advantageous, considering only price and price-related factors. Award will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system with payment via electronic funds transfer. The solicitation references FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures and includes all standard FAR and DFARS clauses, labor standards requirements, Buy American provisions, and construction wage rates applicable to Harris County, Texas. Interested vendors must be registered in SAM.gov, submit representations and certifications, acknowledge any amendments, and submit pricing showing unit price and total amount. A pre-quote conference and site visit are scheduled for July 1 and July 8, 2026, at 9:30 AM CDT at Ellington Field, with attendance details and security requirements specified in the solicitation.
