About this file

This is a Price Schedule document for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources solicitation 2026-818 for goat grazing services at three state parks located in Winona, Goodhue, and Mower Counties. The project encompasses prescribed rotational goat grazing across White Water State Park (51 acres), Frontenac State Park (54 acres), and Lake Louise State Park (43 acres), with the primary objective of reducing woody shrub density in oak woodland and bluff prairie communities by targeting vegetation including buckthorn, prickly ash, honeysuckle, sumac, and ninebark. Bidders may submit responses for one, some, or all three bid groups. The price schedule requires vendors to provide unit pricing for mobilization of goats to each site, paddock fee for installation and maintenance of fencing, and daily grazing rates that include watering, herd monitoring, and all incidentals. Bid Group 1 specifies mobilization of 50 goats with 2 paddocks and 101 grazing days; Bid Group 2 requires 60 goats with 2 paddocks and 123 grazing days; and Bid Group 3 requires 50 goats with 4 paddocks and 123 grazing days.

All responses must be submitted electronically through the Swift Portal, and failure to respond to all line items may result in bid rejection. The completed price schedule must be submitted in Microsoft Excel 97-2003 (.xls) or 2010 (.xlsx) format, with compatible extensions including .xlsm, .xlt, .xltm, and .xlw, or alternatively in PDF format. Unit pricing must include all costs associated with labor, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the grazing services. Vendors requiring assistance with registration or completion of their response should contact the Contractor Assistance Help Desk at 651-201-8100, Option 1.
