About this file
This Statement of Objectives (SOO) describes an audio-visual upgrade design project for the Hanscom Conference Center at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. The project involves comprehensive upgrades to six conference rooms, including the Concord, Lexington, Holzman, Bedford, Burlington, and Lincoln rooms. The key objectives are to replace existing audio-visual equipment with modern technologies, including LED micro-tile video walls, new cameras, microphones, speakers, control panels, and networking capabilities that support both unclassified and secure (up to Secret collateral) communications.
The project requires a consultant to conduct a detailed assessment, develop design specifications, and create individual Statements of Work for each room. Critical requirements include implementing Audio Visual over Internet Protocol (AVoIP) technology, Microsoft Teams compatibility, secure video teleconferencing on the DISA Global Video Services network, and flexible room configurations that allow overflow and routing between spaces. The consultant must provide comprehensive documentation, including wiring diagrams, equipment lists, cost estimates, and a quality control testing plan. The base period of performance is 12 weeks, with the potential for phased implementation based on funding availability.
