About this file

This document is a project specification for a generator installation at the Washington County Health Department located in Sandersville, Georgia. The project involves a comprehensive 100 kW diesel generator installation that includes multiple critical infrastructure tasks such as sidewalk excavation, underground conduit installation, electrical system modifications, and technical generator placement. The scope of work encompasses 14 specific installation steps, including concrete pad preparation, generator and transfer switch mounting, electrical wiring, ground rod installation, and a required NFPA 110 startup with a 4-hour load bank test.

The project specifications detail specific technical requirements and inclusions, with notable provisions such as mandatory NFPA 110 compliance for emergency power systems, inclusion of permit fees, provision of 20 gallons of diesel fuel, and specification of all-copper wiring. The installation will be located on the north side of the building and involves intricate electrical infrastructure modifications, including a new 400-amp automatic transfer switch, underground conduit routing, and integration with existing electrical systems. The bid appears to be a fixed-price proposal covering both materials and labor for the complete generator installation project.
