About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) seeking industry feedback on the proposed contract strategy and structure for a new Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (MA IDIQ) contract for Modern Software Development (MSD) efforts in support of Army systems.
The RFI outlines the government's interest in establishing separate "pools" for CAS-covered and non-CAS covered contractors, as well as the benefits, risks, and considerations around a single pool of both contractor types. It also requests feedback on the appropriate number of IDIQ contract holders, with the government envisioning between 6-16 total awardees to ensure meaningful work for all. Respondents are asked to provide input on the proposed contract strategy, initial Statement of Objectives, and targeted questions by June 10, 2024. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation for offers.
