Q&A M007 5/5/23
1. Would it be possible to receive schematics of the Unit Control Board ? See attachment with Drawings.
1. Would it be possible to receive pictures from the unit breakers for U2 (212 cabinet) and U3 (312 cabinet), with panels removed. Mr.Delgado indicated that these pictures could be made available.
1. Would it be possible to receive pictures for the PT/CT cabinet for U1, panels removed, where we intend to tap-off the 6.9kV feed to the new PPT? At this point pictures are not available for questions 3 and 4 , apologize for the inconvenience
1. For the new static excitation system we will require a new 125Vdc feed for field flashing. We forgot to check if there are breakers available or space available in the 125Vdc breaker panel for new breakers? I believe the 125Vdc panel will be replaced. If it’s not too late, this requirement should be specified in the 125Vdc panel RFP. 30A or 40A breaker will suffice for each unit for field flashing. The new DC panel would have spare available spaces to install new DC Breakers.
1. Could you confirm that we could use a certified crane operator and rigger from the plant personnel. We will be providing personnel to perform the actual rigging under direction from a plant provided certified rigger. Power Plant Crane Operator is available to operate the Overhead crane and move material and equipment for Plant Projects.
1. During the plant visit we observed the SCADA Indusoft software on the large screen. This system does not have any interface with the current excitation system, so there should not be any need to perform changes in the Indusoft software for the exciter project. Reivax will provide an option for 15” remote HMI panels (1 per unit) for each UCB as there seemed to be an interest from plant personnel for this solution. We also intend to interface with the existing SEL-2407 satellite clock system in order to time synchronize the new excitation systems with other plant signals. Please confirm if our understanding is correct. All submittals will be reviewed prior to be approved.
1. Is there an existing tray and opening between the exciter room and the battery room for routing a conduit/cable for the field flashing? At this time there is not opening, or cable try between those rooms. Drills holes needs to be performed to run new electrical conductors
