About this file

The document is an addendum to the bidding documents for the Father Marquette National Memorial - Pump Station Replacement project located in Moran Township, Michigan and managed by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). The addendum provides clarifications and revisions to the original bid documents, including the substantial completion date of May 15, 2024, the final completion date of June 12, 2024, and the anticipated notice to proceed date of August 16, 2023. It also addresses various bidder questions, such as the availability of record drawings, the project warranty, and the ability to trim trees. The document includes revisions to the project plans and specifications, such as changes to the existing electrical, tree protection, and pump station operational parameters.

The addendum also includes the addition of an alternate bid item for replacing the buried electrical circuit to the pump station panel. It outlines the unit price schedule and indicates that the contract will be awarded based on the base proposal sum, with any accepted alternates incorporated. The project requires compliance with State of Michigan prevailing wage rates and encourages the use of Michigan products and recycled/environmentally friendly materials.
