About this file

This document is Attachment B - Low-Voltage Distribution Transformers for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2022200082 issued by Lane County, Oregon and the City of Eugene, Oregon. The ITB is for the procurement of switchgear, transformers, and other electrical components, excluding installation. The key technical requirements for the low-voltage distribution transformers include: 15 kVA or larger capacity, compliance with DOE 2016 energy efficiency standards, copper windings, ventilated NEMA Type 1 enclosures, and testing per IEEE standards. The transformers must have a primary voltage of 480V and a secondary voltage of 208Y/120V. The ITB does not specify quantities, response dates, award dates, or contract term details.

Regarding pricing, the ITB does not provide any details on pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding amounts or sources. The ITB is focused solely on the technical specifications and testing requirements for the low-voltage distribution transformers to be procured under this contract opportunity.

A. Section includes distribution, dry-type transformers with a nominal primary and secondary rating of 600 V and less, with capacity specified.

1.2 ACTION SUBMITTALS

A. Product Data:

1. Include construction details, material descriptions, dimensions of individual components and profiles, and finishes for each type and size of transformer.

2. Include rated nameplate data, capacities, weights, dimensions, minimum clearances, installed devices and features, and performance for each type and size of transformer.

B. Shop Drawings:

1. Detail equipment assemblies and indicate dimensions, weights, loads, required clearances, method of field assembly, components, and location and size of each field connection.

2. Vibration Isolation Base Details: Detail fabrication including anchorages and attachments to structure and to supported equipment.

3. Include diagrams for power, signal, and control wiring.

1.3 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

A. Responsibility for receipt, storage and handling of switchgear will be assigned to the Electrical

Contractor who will be installing the switchgear. Selection of this Contractor will be made under a separate contract.
