About this file
Addendum No. 1 for the City of Ashland's Street Overlay Project (Project No. 2021-03) modifies the original bid documents for a street maintenance project. The addendum, issued on September 19, 2025, does not change the bid submittal deadline and provides clarifications on project specifications, particularly regarding lane closures and tree/vegetation trimming. Specific modifications include eliminating a section about Stage VIII Work and updating tree trimming guidelines, which now require trimming under a certified arborist's guidance and maintaining 14-foot clearance over roadways and 8-foot clearance over walks.
The addendum also addresses pre-bid questions by confirming that a Pavement Report is available on the OregonBuys website and an Excel spreadsheet of the Project Bid Schedule has been uploaded to the same location. Bidders are instructed to verify the accuracy of spreadsheet formulas. The City of Ashland Municipal Code is referenced regarding tree limb clearance, reinforcing the 14-foot minimum height requirement above the roadway surface. The document emphasizes that these changes will be incorporated into the final contract, and bidders are expected to submit their proposals accordingly.
