The Contractor shall retain the capability for CBP to purchase additional licenses for the life of the LS-NII system at the original purchase price. The licenses for the system viewer shall be valid for the life of the system. The image viewer software shall operate when loaded on workstations or laptops presently in use by CBP.

The Contractor will be responsible for upgrading the image viewer software, if necessary, to operate on new/future CBP workstations and laptops. Additionally, the Contractor will be responsible for upgrading the image viewer software on fielded systems as software updates are made to the system viewer.

The image viewer software will present the operator with responses to inputs identical to the responses provided by the operational system.

Notification of Version changes to hardware or software will be presented as updates to the training materials at least 30 days prior to actual equipment updates to OTD, NII and the COR.

The Contractor shall provide one operator class per unit which shall include on-site training and all training materials for CBP operator personnel at each site using materials to include classroom instruction, user/instructor guides/manuals, video, computers and on-the-job training aids.
