About this file

This document is a Solicitation Questions and Answers (Q&A) for Request for Quotation (RFQ) 20149165 for a CBP Yuma Sunshade Canopy Installation project. The Q&A addresses six key inquiries from potential contractors, including details about project start date, canopy dimensions, and documentation availability. Key responses include: the government anticipates awarding a purchase order within 30 days, with all work to be completed within 120 calendar days after order receipt; photos and initial canopy dimensions are available in a separate document; and additional engineering details must be obtained from the original manufacturer, Big Top Manufacturing.

The solicitation is a small business set-aside for commercial services related to installing a government-furnished fabric shade structure and frame at the CBP firing range in Yuma, Arizona. Contractors must attend a mandatory site visit to be considered, submit quotations by email to Benjamin Dorgan by April 8, 2025, and provide technical approach, past performance references, and pricing. The award will be made to the lowest-priced technically acceptable quote, with evaluation criteria including technical approach, past performance, and price under the NAICS code 238110 with a small business size standard of $19.0M.
