About this file

This is a photograph related to a pavement maintenance project solicitation issued by Grand County, Utah. The image shows a closeup view of the Transit Hub and Lions Park area, which represents one of the project corridors subject to the paved pathway maintenance contract opportunity.

Grand County, Utah is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to perform pavement preservation and maintenance services on approximately 10.5 miles of paved pathways across three corridors: Moab Canyon Corridor, Colorado River Corridor, and Lions Park perimeter pathway. The work scope includes crack sealing, wide-crack mastic repair, surface preparation, two applications of seal coat with a traction agent, and pavement striping on both asphalt and concrete sections. The County estimates a seal-coat area of 800,000 square feet, with estimated quantities for crack sealant, mastic, and striping provided for bidding purposes. Contractors are required to verify existing conditions and quantities during site inspections. The successful contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, traffic control, cleanup, and incidentals necessary to complete the work, with all proposed prices submitted as not-to-exceed amounts for the entire project. Detailed .kml files for the Colorado River Bike Path and Moab Canyon Pathway are available upon request from cmckinney@grandcountyutah.gov.
