About this file

This is a solicitation of qualifications document issued by Boulder County Procurement establishing a short-list arrangement for pest control services for Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) residential and administrative properties located in Colorado. The solicitation seeks qualified contractors to provide comprehensive pest control services utilizing an integrated pest management approach focused on prevention, control, and education to maintain clean, healthy, and pest-free environments for residents, staff, and visitors. The short-list arrangement does not guarantee work to selected vendors; rather, contractors will be assigned projects on a case-by-case basis following selection of the short list.

Work assignment under the short-list arrangement is structured by project value thresholds. For projects valued below $10,000, Boulder County may assign work to any vendor on the short list based on project needs without competitive bidding. For projects valued at $10,000 or greater, the County will solicit quotes from all vendors under contract on the short list and provide a response deadline, with vendor selection based on timely submitted quotes. Specific contract terms and conditions governing the short-list arrangement are contained in Paragraph 2 of the contract template. Interested vendors may direct questions regarding the Boulder County procurement process to procurement@bouldercounty.gov.

Short-List Arrangement

This solicitation for qualifications seeks to create a “short list” of vendors under contract with the County; however, it does not guarantee work.

Vendors will be selected on a project-by-project basis. For projects less than $10,000, the County may assign work to any vendor on the shortlist based on project needs. For projects $10,000 and greater, the County will reach out to all vendors under contract on the short list and provide a deadline for vendors to provide a quote. The County will select a vendor based on the quotes timely provided.

Paragraph 2 of the contract template contains the specific language that contractor will agree to with respect to this “Short list” arrangement.
