About this file

This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) issued by the Bibb County School District Procurement Office in Georgia for Dell computers needed districtwide across the district's 38 school locations. The RFQ solicits pricing for three specific Dell product configurations: a Dell Pro 27 Plus Monitor (P2725H), a Dell Pro 16" Plus laptop with Intel Core Ultra 5 processor and Windows 11 Pro, and a Dell Pro Max Tower T2 desktop computer with Intel Core Ultra 7 processor. The district will purchase these items on an as-needed basis rather than requesting a specific quantity upfront. The deadline for submitting questions is May 21, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. EST, and all proposals must be submitted online via the BONFIRE portal by June 1, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. EST. The contract term begins July 1, 2026 and extends through June 30, 2027, with an option for renewal for up to four additional years. No bidders conference or site visit is mentioned in the solicitation.

Vendors are required to submit pricing only for the three specified Dell computer models, including any applicable shipping and handling charges, with the understanding that pricing may fluctuate due to economic changes. The district anticipates that the selected vendor will provide official quotes upon request for various components as needed throughout the contract period. All proposals must be submitted by registered vendors through the BONFIRE platform and must include the proposer's federal tax identification number and be signed by a legally authorized company representative. The evaluation will be conducted on the basis of pricing and delivery, with the contract awarded to the proposal deemed most advantageous to the district. All communication regarding the RFQ must be directed in writing via email to Dr. Elaine M. Wilson, the Executive Director of Procurement, at Elaine.Wilson@bcsdk12.net.
