About this file

This is a Protected Information Request Form issued by the City of West Jordan, Utah, for a Cash Receipting Software (SaaS) procurement opportunity. The form serves as a template for vendors submitting proposals to clearly identify and describe any specific information they claim requires business confidentiality protection under Utah's Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA), codified as Utah Code Ann. Subsection 63G-2-101 et seq. Vendors are instructed to list all sections for which they request protected status, with the understanding that the City reserves the right to classify any proposal as a public record if it does not comply with GRAMA requirements or if confidentiality claims lack adequate specificity and detail.

The City reserves sole discretion to decline protection designations if vendors use blanket claims of business confidentiality without sufficient justification. Vendors must provide their company name, contact name, email address, and RFP or Bid number on the form. The underlying procurement seeks qualified SaaS providers to deliver a comprehensive cash receipting software solution that integrates with the City's utility billing software (SpryPoint) and Workday ERP system to support citywide payment collection processes for various municipal services, both in-person and online.
