Tack coat and prime coat applications are required per specification sections unless noted as incidental to the paving item. The municipality reserves the right to limit completed work, procure materials best suited to their requirements, make awards based on aggregate totals for like items, and determine future contract awards based on quality of work performance. A certified check or bid bond equal to 10 percent of the total bid amount is required, along with performance and payment bonds.
