MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT FOR BID SCHEDULE LINE ITEMS
MOBILIZATION AND DEMOBILIZATION
Payment shall be made at the contract lump sum price for transportation of equipment, material, and personnel to and from the job site location (regardless of trips required), all required permits and fees, taxes, and all other necessary items to complete the work.
SOLID SEWER PIPE
Payment for solid sewer pipe as specified on the Design shall be made at the contract unit price for the size of pipe listed based on the number of linear feet installed. Payment shall include excavation, backfill and compaction; all pipe and fittings; connection of the solid sewer pipe to an existing sewer service line or home; testing; resurfacing trenched areas to equal or better condition than existing; and all other necessary items for a complete and operational installation.
UNDERGROUND CLEANOUT, DOUBLESWEEP
Payment for the underground cleanout as specified on the Design shall be made at the contract unit price for the number of underground cleanouts installed. Payment shall include excavation, backfilling and compaction, all pipe and fittings, and all other necessary items for a complete and operational installation. No payment shall be made for cleanouts installed above grade as part of the connection to existing house, or as part of drop manholes.
1,250-GAL CONCRETE SEPTIC TANK WITH RISERS AND LIDS
Payment for the 1,250-gal concrete septic tank with risers and lids, as specified in the Design, shall be made at the contract unit price for the size and type listed based on the number of tanks installed. Payment shall include excavation, backfill, compaction, sand or gravel where non-uniform native soil or groundwater is present, resurfacing excavated areas to equal or better condition than existing and grading to direct surface runoff away from tank, septic tank, risers, lids, effluent filter (Zabel A100 or equivalent), all pipe and fittings, waterproofing, testing, and all other necessary items for a complete and operational installation.
1,250-GAL PUMP CHAMBER TANK WITH ALL RISERS, LIDS, PUMP (HYDROMATIC HE20-51 OR EQUAL), AND CONTROLS Payment for the pump tank, as specified in the Design, shall be made at the contract unit price for the size listed based on the number of pump tanks installed. Payment shall include excavation, backfill, compaction, sand or gravel where non-uniform native soil or groundwater is present, resurfacing excavated areas to equal or better condition than existing and grading to direct surface runoff away from tank, pump tank, risers, lids, waterproofing, plumbing, valves, fittings, pump, pump vault (Biotube or equal), floats, fused disconnect (when required), watertight junction box, high water alarm, control panel, connection to the existing home electric subpanel, testing, configuring the control panel and pump/dosing settings at system start-up, and all other necessary items for a complete and operational installation.
SUPPLY AND RETURN LINE AND MANIFOLDS (1" PVC SCH 40)
Payment for the supply and return line and manifolds as specified on the Design shall be made at the contract unit price for the size of pipe listed based on the number of linear feet installed. Payment shall include excavation, backfill and compaction, all pipe and fittings (approximately 500ft, as shown in the Design, installer to confirm lengths before construction), pressure regulator, air vents at highest points, testing, resurfacing trenched areas to equal or better condition than existing; and all other necessary items for a complete and operational installation.
DRIP MOUND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
Payment for a drip mound drain field (approximately 1,365 square feet) as specified in the Design shall be made at the contract unit price based on the square footage of sand mound installed. Compensation shall include payment for excavation, surface preparation, erosion control, and backfill; approximately 19.5 cubic yards of imported ASTM C-33 sand fill, drip line with emitters (approximately 480 ft), inspection ports, all piping and fittings, continuous flush head works including pressure gauges, flow meter, and disk filter, controls conduit, testing, topsoil and seeding over the sand mound, final grading, and all other necessary items for a complete and operational system.
