About this file

The document is an E-Verify Requirement form from the Town of Palm Beach, Florida, outlining compliance requirements for contractors and subcontractors. The document mandates that all proposers and their subcontractors must be registered with the E-Verify System (E-Verify.gov) and use it to electronically verify the employment eligibility of all newly hired workers, effective January 1, 2021.

The form specifies strict compliance conditions, including the requirement for contractors to obtain affidavits from subcontractors confirming they do not employ unauthorized aliens. The Town of Palm Beach reserves the right to terminate the contract if there is a good faith belief that the contractor or subcontractor has knowingly violated employment eligibility regulations. Additionally, a contractor terminated for such violations will be barred from being awarded future Town of Palm Beach contracts for one year and may be liable for additional costs incurred due to the termination.
