Summary of 2-Bid Submission Package for Memphord Estates Stormwater Basin Rehabilitation
This is a bid submission package for the Memphord Estates Stormwater Basin Rehabilitation project owned by Monaghan Township in York County, Pennsylvania. The project involves the rehabilitation of two existing stormwater basins, including clearing brush and felling trees along the fence line, repairs to existing fencing, replacement of outlet structures, installation of inlet snouts, installation of gravel access road, and site restoration. The work scope encompasses ten line items: tree and vegetation clearing, two outlet structure replacements, gravel access road installation, three stormwater inlet structures, two snout installations with bioskirts in different sizes, topsoil placement totaling 20 square yards, seeding at 30 pounds, and 102 linear feet of compost filter sock. The bid submission deadline is July 2, 2024. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the bid opening. All work is tax-exempt as the project is being undertaken by a municipal entity.
The submission package requires bidders to provide unit pricing for each line item with a total construction cost in both written and numerical formats. Bidders must submit required bid security in the form of a certified check, money order, or bid bond; a statement of qualifications; a non-collusion affidavit; certification of non-discrimination; and safety guidelines acknowledgment. The package includes specific certifications regarding bidder qualifications, experience, equipment availability, financial capacity, and references. Bidders must certify that their bid is genuine and made without collusion, that they have visited the site and reviewed all project documents, and that they understand and will comply with OSHA safety requirements and all applicable federal, state, and local laws. The surety bond's penal sum amount and specific contract term dates are not detailed in this submission package section.
