About this file
This document is a comprehensive Project Manual for the SCCPSS (Savannah County Charter Public School System) Alternative Schools Renovation project located in Garden City, Georgia, prepared by Goodwyn Mills Cawood, LLC. The project involves renovation of an existing school facility to accommodate four different school programs: Building Bridges High School, Building Bridges Middle School, Wings Elementary, and SCELA. The project manual, dated October 3, 2025, contains detailed technical specifications across multiple divisions including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and site work, with a total of 6 volumes and a project number of ASAV240002.
The project manual includes extensive technical specifications covering everything from site clearing and earthwork to complex systems like fire detection, intrusion detection, and communication enhancement systems. The renovation appears to be a comprehensive modernization effort, with specifications detailing precise requirements for materials, installation methods, quality control, and performance standards. While specific budget details are not provided in the document, the breadth and depth of the specifications suggest a significant capital investment in modernizing educational facilities. The manual emphasizes compliance with national standards, local building codes, and specific requirements of authorities having jurisdiction, indicating a thorough approach to school renovation and educational infrastructure improvement.
