About this file

This is a Scope of Work (Attachment B) from the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) for driver education curriculum materials for school districts and charters across Utah. The project aims to align core standards and curricular materials for driver education in both classroom and online settings, serving approximately 58 school districts/charters, 150 high schools, 200 classroom teachers, and 160 student classroom bundles. The estimated annual quantities include 20 teacher editions, 400 student textbooks, and 24,000 student workbooks, with materials to include comprehensive instructor guides, lesson plans, downloadable PowerPoints, videos, tests, quizzes, activities, and parent guides.

The total budget for the agreement is up to $250,000.00 ($50,000.00 per fiscal year), though this is not a guaranteed amount. USBE reserves the right to purchase bundled or discounted offers and will determine exact materials and quantities needed. The vendor will be responsible for delivering curriculum packages either to USBE or directly to districts/charters, ensuring materials arrive in "like new" condition. Invoicing will be electronic, with specific requirements for invoice submission, and USBE maintains the right to audit and potentially recover incorrectly paid amounts. The contract includes provisions for customer service support and allows USBE to terminate contracts in accordance with their standard terms and conditions.
