About this file
The document is a detailed Scope of Work prepared by Johnson + Bailey Architects, P.C. for the City of Murfreesboro's Roof Replacement project at the Cannonsburgh Village Haynes Museum located at 312 Front Street. The project involves comprehensive roof replacement for the primary building and front porch structure, including the removal of existing Galvalume roofing panels, underlayment, and rake boards, and the installation of a new standing seam metal roof system. The scope includes inspecting and replacing deteriorated roof deck boards (assuming 560 SF), installing new eave fascia boards, gutter flashing, gutters, downspouts, and a self-adhered roofing underlayment membrane. The work is to be performed in a clean, professional manner, with no more than 25% of metal roofing and deck boards removed at any time, and Cannonsburgh Village will remain open to the public during the project.
The standing seam metal roofing specifications detail extensive requirements for materials, fabrication, installation, and warranty. The metal panels will be 26 ga. Galvalume with an acrylic coating, installed with concealed clips and fasteners. The manufacturer provides a comprehensive 20-year warranty covering panel materials, finish, and watertightness, contingent upon proper installation and two mandatory inspections by the manufacturer's technical representative. The specifications list multiple acceptable manufacturers, including Berridge Manufacturing Company, Atas International, Englert Series, and others. The installation must comply with various ASTM standards and the SMACNA Architectural Sheet Metal Manual, ensuring high-quality workmanship and long-term performance of the roofing system.
