About this file
This is a Scope of Work document issued by the State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources for a five-year consumable parts contract for UV sterilization systems across multiple state fish hatcheries. The procurement covers replacement parts for UV units manufactured by Trojan Technologies, SITAUV, and DeNora, with specific model numbers detailed for each manufacturer. Vendors are required to provide pricing for parts listed in the attached bid table and are encouraged to supply comprehensive pricing for all consumable parts including lamps, ballasts, seals, quartz sleeves, o-rings, and gaskets, as well as shipping rates to hatchery locations in Fountain Green, Mammoth Creek, Springville East and West, Logan, and Kamas. The contract will be awarded per manufacturer, meaning up to three separate vendors may be awarded based on lowest pricing for each manufacturer's part list, with the bidder offering the lowest cost for each manufacturer table receiving the corresponding award.
All replacement parts must be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts to maintain system integrity and compatibility. Substitutions of functionally equivalent parts may be considered only with written submission and formal approval from the designated facility manager prior to procurement or installation; installation of non-OEM parts without prior written authorization constitutes a breach of contract and requires replacement at the contractor's expense. The contract term is five years with pricing guarantees for the first year, after which price increase requests will be considered. No mandatory site visit is required prior to bidding, though potential bidders are strongly recommended to inspect facilities to understand conditions affecting performance costs.

Scope of Work – BD26-58 Attachment : B
Scope of Work: Springville, Fountain Green, Logan, Kamas & Mammoth Creek Fish Hatchery UV Parts
1. Introduction State of Utah hatcheries utilize several different UV sterilizers as part of their biosecurity plans. The Division of Wildlife Resources is acquiring a 5-year contract for parts for the UV systems throughout their facilities. The manufacturers for the units and parts are Trojan Technologies, SITAUV, and DeNora. This document outlines the Scope of Work for a five-year consumable parts contract for these units.
This Scope of Work will be issued under solicitation # BD26-58.

1.2 Scope of Work
At a minimum, vendors should supply pricing for parts listed on the Bid Table, but are recommended to also provide pricing for all consumable parts for each aforementioned model, such as lamps, ballasts, and seals as well as pricing for parts sold on an “as-needed” basis such as quartz sleeves, o-rings, nut sleeves and gaskets, lamp wires by uploading an additional cost sheet with your parts catalog and filling in the “Discount Percentage (%) off from Catalog” field on the bid tables. These have a known usable life and manufacturer recommendations will have these parts replaced more than once during the contract period. See attachment C “UV Sterilizer Parts List” for a complete list of part numbers used by the hatcheries. Vendor will also supply shipping rates. Hatchery locations are in Fountain Green, Mammoth Creek, Springville East and West, Logan, and Kamas.
1.3 Requirements
Parts and Material Requirements
All replacement parts and materials used in the execution of this scope of work shall be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts to ensure the highest quality, compatibility, and adherence to established system specifications. This requirement is in place to maintain the integrity and longevity of the facility's assets.
Substitution Clause:
Should an OEM part be unavailable, or if a functionally equivalent, "like" part is proposed, a substitution may be considered. Any proposed substitution must be submitted in writing and receive explicit, formal approval from the designated facility manager before the part is procured or installed. The submission for approval must include comprehensive documentation demonstrating that the proposed substitute part meets or exceeds the specifications, performance standards, and warranty requirements of the original OEM part. Installation of non-OEM parts without this prior written authorization will constitute a breach of this agreement and may require immediate removal and replacement with an approved part at the contractor's sole expense.
1.4 Bidding:
On the bid table, please provide pricing for each of the part numbers on the list for any of the manufacturer parts that your company offers. If your company does not offer parts on one or two of the other manufacturer lists, please leave it blank. If your company offers parts for all three manufacturers listed, feel free to fill out all 3 tables with pricing.
The contract will be awarded PER MANUFACTURER, so it is possible for there to be three different vendors awarded for this contract. The bidder with the lowest pricing for each manufacturer table parts list will be awarded for that table.
