About this file

This document is a bid proposal package from Nether Providence Township for the Houston Park - Beatty Run Bridge Improvements project, prepared by Catania Engineering Associates, Inc. The project involves four primary work items: replacement of stonework, vegetation and weed removal, crack sealing, and repair and backfill of wall backside, each listed as a lump sum (LS) quantity. The bid documents include various standard forms such as a Form of Proposal, Bid Bond, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bidder's Qualifications, Workers' Compensation Affidavit, Public Works Employment Verification Form, and a Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause. The bidder is required to submit unit prices for each work item and is expected to execute the agreement within 10 days of notification of award.

The bid package requires comprehensive documentation from potential contractors, including financial statements, experience qualifications, worker classifications, subcontractor declarations, and verification of employment eligibility through the federal E-Verify Program. While specific pricing details are not filled in, the document provides a structured framework for bidders to propose their costs. The project is subject to various legal and regulatory requirements, including compliance with Pennsylvania's Human Relations Act, worker compensation laws, and non-discrimination policies. Bidders must also demonstrate financial stability, relevant experience, and the capability to perform the specified bridge improvement work in Nether Providence Township.
