About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a solicitation related to translation and interpretation services. The solicitation is a renewal of an existing Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) set to expire in December 2025. Key details include: translation pricing should be offered by page (350 words), interpretation services rates should include half-day and full-day options, and the solicitation applies strictly to on-site interpretation. Subcontracting is permitted, but there are no insurance requirements. Vendors must quote based on specific interpretation techniques (consecutive/simultaneous) and are advised that travel costs are not included in the quote. The government expects comprehensive past performance references with as much detail as possible, and all documents in the solicitation package must be completed.
