About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for RFQ 19MX5725Q0015 regarding Swimming Pool Preventive Maintenance Services for CGR (Consulate General). The document was issued by the United States Consulate General in Hermosillo and contains responses to two contractor questions submitted electronically. The proposal submission deadline is August 22, 2025, and all information is posted on the sam.gov public website for transparency to all potential quoters.
The Q&A addresses two key contractor concerns: insurance requirements and subcontracting allowances. For insurance, contractors must carry General Liability insurance to cover injury or damage caused during performance, in addition to any locally required insurance, with specific requirements detailed in Section 1.22 of the solicitation. Subcontracting is permitted but requires contractors to provide subcontractor information and proof of the business relationship through documentation such as a contract. The contracting officer emphasizes that these Q&A responses do not constitute changes to the original solicitation and that any formal modifications will be communicated through written amendments.
