Questions and Answers
Q1: Drawing S3.0 calls for injection of joint locations that are located behind a concrete masonry wall. The configuration of the joint to be grouted is unclear from the plan view.
Please provide a section-view showing the wall/slab interface and CMU wall for the 3 walls indicated on the attached drawing.
A1: It is assumed that the question is about the wall of the Pond Equipment Room. If yes, then please see the attached drawing.
Q2: Section B.3 of the Solicitation contains CLINS 0001-0003 for the Pond Equipment Room, CHP Room, and Boiler Room, respectively. Attachment J.1.1 SOW Section 16 provides estimated quantities for the Pond Equipment Room, Generator Equipment Room, Boilers Plant Room, Main Plant Room, and Parking Garage. Please confirm that the “CLIN 0002 CHP Room” and Generator Equipment Room are one and the same. Also, please confirm that pricing for the Main Plant Room and Parking Garage is NOT to be included in the pricing schedule Section B.3 and repair of these areas is not within the base scope of the Solicitation.
A2: Correct.
Q3: Attachment J.1.1 SOW Section 18 describes the period of performance related to Task 1, Task 2, and Task 3 for the Initial Work, Follow-up Work, and Final Work. The Solicitation Section F.1 states that all construction work must be completed not later than 90 calendar days after notice to proceed. Please confirm that the period of performance under Section F.1 of the solicitation applies only to Tasks 1 and 2 of the Initial Work phase, and the periods of performance under J.1.1 SOW Section 18 apply to the remainder of the scope.
A3: The SOW has been revised to confirm the approach outlined here.
