QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS SET TWO
1. Q: Based on the site survey, the specific model of the wireless microphones or its direct equivalent that is requested will not work properly. This model is not intended to be used in multiple units in the same geographic location, it has a single fixed frequency, this will result interference with other similar units in the facility. A model with an agile frequency selection is preferred.
Kindly advise whether you prefer we quote the microphones requested in the solicitation or whether to suggest a better option that suits the infrastructure of the building and better meets the requirements intended from this product?
A: Quote the microphone requested in the solicitation.
2. Q: Following the site visit and based on the room sizes, one speaker in each room would not be sufficient, as this will result in a Larsen effect (feedback) when set on a high volume to cover the far end of the room.
Ideally, it is recommend to install 4-6 ceiling speakers per room and an amplifier would be needed to drive the speakers. Will you prefer that we quote the requested one speaker per room or prefer to add more speakers per room as suggested.
A: Quote the requested one speaker per room.
