About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by the U.S. Embassy in Paris, Contracts Office A-M8, on February 2, 2026. The amendment modifies RFQ #19FR6326Q0040, originally dated January 12, 2026, under Purchase Requisition PR15719090. The contracting officer is Craig N. Deatrick. The amendment makes two substantive changes to the scope of work: it removes the anti-stain treatment (Traitement antitache avec control des liquides qui perlent sur le Voilage/Rideaux) from the sheers/curtains cleaning services, and it adds a new Attachment 2 containing photographs of venetian blinds and sheers in kitchens. The receipt deadline for offers is not extended from the original solicitation timeline, and contractors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the specified hour and date by completing the amendment form, acknowledging it on each copy of the offer submitted, or via separate written correspondence referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers.

The contract concerns facility maintenance services at the U.S. Embassy, specifically for cleaning sheers/curtains and venetian blinds. Sheer and curtain cleaning services include dust removal, pre-wash with bleaching agent, minor sewing repairs, consolidation of flemish headings, press ironing, re-installation, and on-site finishing work. Venetian blind cleaning services encompass measuring blinds, providing quotes within 72 hours, on-site dust removal, general cleaning followed by ultrasound cleaning, and anti-static treatment. The contractor must provide on-site supervision through a designated representative acting as the focal point with U.S. Government personnel, maintain schedules accommodating effective service delivery during regular Embassy working hours, and ensure employees wear identification badges issued by the Embassy Regional Security Office.
