About this file
This is an Amendment of Solicitation (Amendment No. 19AS2026Q0020-A0001) issued by GSO Procurement at the U.S. Embassy in Canberra, Australia, with an effective date of July 23, 2026. The amendment modifies the original solicitation 19AS2026Q0020 dated June 23, 2026, for Purchase Requisition PR16058104. The contracting officer is Malene G. Carr. The amendment does not extend the deadline for offer submission, and offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the original solicitation deadline or risk rejection of their offer.
The primary purpose of this amendment is to add additional work to Section B of the Statement of Work that was not included in the original solicitation. The contractor is required to supply and install approximately 12 linear meters of 50 mm heavy-duty electrical conduit extending from a residence to the front grass area, crossing beneath a driveway while pavement is removed for replacement. The work scope includes site investigation (inspection and utility verification), excavation of trenches on both sides of the driveway (approximately 6 meters on each side), conduit installation with proper bedding material and fittings, trench backfilling and compaction, and full restoration of disturbed areas including turf, garden beds, soil, edges, and existing finishes to match surrounding conditions. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, permits, and incidentals necessary for completion, with work subject to inspection and approval by the Contracting Officer's Representative.
