About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of State's Office of Acquisition Management for market research purposes. The Department is seeking information on the availability and technological capabilities of detect and defeat systems to address current and future threats related to unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).

The RFI is interested in obtaining information on handheld/man-portable, portable, and fixed/static detect and defeat systems, as well as kinetic counter-UAS options. The Department is looking for companies with mature systems, manufacturing capabilities, and industry-leading quality standards, who possess all required licenses and approvals to ship systems overseas. Companies may be required to provide training, installation, integration, testing, repairs, and other services, potentially in remote, austere, and high-threat environments. Responses are due by November 27, 2024, and should be submitted using the provided Attachment A template. The Department reserves the right to conduct one-on-one discussions and request additional information from respondents.
