About this file

This document is a pre-solicitation notice for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract or similar ordering mechanism related to detect and defeat systems for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) threats. The Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) is conducting market research to gather information on the availability and capabilities of various types of detect and defeat systems, including handheld, portable, and fixed/static systems, as well as kinetic C-UAS options.

The government is interested in obtaining mature systems with manufacturing capabilities and industry-leading quality standards from companies that possess all required licenses and approvals to ship systems overseas. Companies may be required to provide training, installation, integration, testing, repairs, and similar services, and to perform work in remote, austere, and high-threat environments. Responses are due by November 27, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET, and should be submitted using the provided Attachment A format. The government reserves the right to conduct one-on-one discussions with respondents and request additional information.
