About this file
This document is a specification and requirements document for ITT Goulds Brand Pumps, Parts, and Repair Services for Broward County Transit (BCT) Facilities. The contract is intended for the purchase of new pumps, parts, and repair services specifically for maintenance, repair, and operations, and is not meant for large construction or renovation projects. The vendor will be responsible for picking up, evaluating, and repairing ITT Goulds brand pumps under and not under warranty, with specific timelines for response and repair. For pumps under warranty, the vendor will repair at no cost to the county, while for non-warranty pumps, the vendor must provide a detailed repair quotation within five business days of pickup.
The pricing structure includes a fixed percentage discount from the manufacturer's current price list, with vendors required to provide the most current published price list. Invoices must include specific details such as the Broward County contract number, brand name, part number, description, unit price, and discount price. The contract allows for a pass-through allowance for sub-contracting services and freight/shipping charges with prior written approval. Warranty terms include at least a one-year standard manufacturer warranty for new pumps and parts, and a 90-day warranty for repaired pumps. Delivery timelines vary, with new pumps desired within 13-15 weeks, repair parts within 30 calendar days, and repair pumps within 6-8 weeks after receipt of the purchase order.
