About this file
This document provides details on a solicitation for private counsel debt collection services for the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. The Department of Justice seeks to award a contract to private practitioners licensed to practice law in Puerto Rico. The contractor will be required to pursue debt collection activities on behalf of the court, including settlement and compromise procedures, and input case data into a government database. The contract will utilize firm-fixed pricing for secured debt collection services and allow reimbursement of actual costs for other direct and material expenses. The base period of performance is one year with four optional one-year extensions. Interested parties must monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for the full solicitation anticipated for release on December 3, 2018 and any subsequent amendments. Prior to proposal submission, firms are advised to obtain a DUNS number and register in the System for Award Management.
