| RFP #15F06724R000141 Attachment E - Questions | |||||
| Page Number | Solicitation Section | Paragraph Section | Service Area | Question | Response |
| N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | Who is the current security systems provider (card readers, cameras, door sensors, etc.) at this facility? | The FBI will provide and install the badge readers, cameras, door sensors, etc. |
| Who is the current Fire Alarm System provider for this facility? | Please reference "24_0328 - B5 Mod Entrances - 100pc BOD" | ||||
| Who is the current HVAC (Building Automation Controls) controls provider for this facility? | Siemans | ||||
| Who is the current intercom system provider for this facility? | Not applicable to this project. | ||||
| What is the badging process at this facility? | Once an individual is processed and approved through the LAR (Limited Access Request) process, they may be eligible to receive a bidge. To receive a badge the contractor must be on site 2-3 days a week for at least three consecutvie weeks. To receive a badge, the contractor must schedule a badging appointment with the FBI. We can schedule two individuals for an appointment, every 30 minutes. Scheduling is dependent on the staffing and availability at the Visitos Center. | ||||
| N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | *Is there cost associated with the badging process, if so what is it? | No |
| *What is the lead time to receive badging to this facility? | Once LAR paperwork and fingerprints are submitted, the LAR process can take up to 10 business days. After approval a badging appointment would then have to be scheduled with the FBI. Scheduling is dependent on the staffing and availability at the Visitos Center. | ||||
| *Are there any avenues for personnel to work before receiving the badge after applying for it (i.e. daily check in or visitor's pass)? | All contractor's working on or off site on the project, must complete an LAR and be approved before performing work. They are not required to have a badge, but the FBI would need 48hr notice before they are on site to add them to an access list. Anyone planning to be on site 2-3 days a week for at least three consecutvie weeks should request a badge. | ||||
| What is the average time to access the job site daily for contractors? | If the FBI is given at least 48hr notice of the individuals need to be on site, the individual should have minor delays at the gate. The only delays would be for vehicle searches and to ensure they are on the access list. If they are badged, the only delay is a vehicle search. | ||||
| At the walk thru it was mentioned that a list of current vendors and contractors who are or have been working at the facility could possibly be made available. Can this be provided? | We cannot publish the entire list of cleared vendors. If there is a vendor you would like us to verify their clearance status, we can. | ||||

Can the requested photos from the site visit be provided? | For security purposes, pictures can not be posted on SAM; however, will be provided upon request to the Contracting Officer | ||||
| N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A | For bidding purposes where would the dumpster be located for this project? | Location can be discussed and coordinated. The best location would probably be in the back of the parking lot. |
| For bidding purposes would a storage / staging / laydown area be provided on site? | Yes | ||||
