Question: Apart from the Kiosk implementation onsite, are contractors able to perform the rest of the tasks remotely in a contractor secured facility, with important deliverables held in person as needed?

Answer: Tasks that can be performed remotely may be proposed as remote tasks in the Technical Quote. Which tasks are best suited to remote and which tasks are best suited to on-site is up to the Offeror to decide.

Question: Is there a need for multilingual requirements for the Website/Kiosk?

Answer: At this time, the need is only for English.

Question: What are the accessibility requirements for the website/Kiosk i.e Section 508, 21st Century IDEA, EO Customer Experience Act, U.S. Web Design Standards.

Answer: All Federal regulations and requirements apply (i.e. Section 508 applies, etc.)

Question: How many users both internal and external are expected to interact with the website/kiosk?

Answer: There is not currently an estimate of the number of users. The website/kiosk should be scalable to accommodate any number of users.

Question: What is the preferred technology stack and Web Content Management System DEA prefers, or can vendors propose their own solution i.e Drupal, SharePoint?

Answer: Vendors may propose their own solution.

Question: Can we receive DEA data retention policies to understand the level of effort for compliance?

Answer: The exact data retention policies have not been determined at this time. However, Offerors should anticipate data retention for multiple years as a minimum.

Question: Are their labor categories for key personnel for this requirement or are vendors able to propose their own?

Answer: Vendors may propose their own. Please note that this is a Firm Fixed Price solicitation, so although a mix of labor categories may be included for informational purposes, labor categories will not ultimately be relevant to the Firm Fixed Price.

Question: Are there any other external integrations that vendors need to be made aware of?

Answer: No.

Question: Is there a training/testing aspect for end users in this requirement?

Answer: Whether this is needed is up to the Offeror. If the interface of the kiosk is sufficiently self-explanatory, then no training is needed. But the ultimately kiosk design proposed may require training. If so, that training should be included in the Offeror’s response.

Question: What are the desired font/size requirements for replying to this effort?

Answer: Responses may use any reasonable font/size. There is no specific preference.

Question: Will an extension be granted for this opportunity?

Answer: No extension is anticipated. The Government reserves the right to extend if deemed necessary, but an extension is not anticipated.
