Questions and Answers – 8.20.20
1. Who is the current incumbent/current contract number? Federal Occupational Health. This is based off of an interagency agreement.
2. If we won the award would we have access to the current providers? No, those providers are contracted with the incumbent and not the BOP.
3. Do we have to have work/life portals? Yes, you will have to have work/life portals.
4. Does staff have to be in place, or can they be hired after award? The Senior Staff Point of Contact needs to be in place immediately. The expectation is for the basic infrastructure of the operation (e.g.
protocol for service connection; process for evaluating qualifications of network providers; ability to provide counseling via telepsychology; and the other items listed in the Technical Quotation Information Packet) to be in place upon the awarding of the contract. However, it is understood that some support staff may need to be hired shortly after the contract is awarded.
5. Depending on the response to the question will there be an extension to solicitation response date?
The Contracting Officer will make the decision to extend the solicitation if she deems it necessary.
